Musings on the road to recovery

It’s hard to feel downbeat when the sunshine is streaming through the windows, the sky is the brightest hue of blue and, to accompany it,  the desire to fling open all of the windows, do a thorough Spring clean and warble like a Disney heroine dueting with Nature. I’m assuming that everyone feels like this when the sun shines although am prepared to concede that it may well just be me.

There’s something about Spring, more so than any other season, I find. It’s the promise of new beginnings, new life. I’m sure that I’m not the only one welcoming the change of the season (and weather) but somehow, looking out of the window at the beautiful sunshine, it makes my heart sing.
